Acoustic Wave Therapy (AWT) is currently used for many applications in the medical, aesthetic and regenerative fields. Some of these areas include:

Fat Reduction:
Before and/or after non-surgical (or surgical) fat reduction treatments. Users report faster, more even, and potentially greater reduction in fat by employing AWT treatments. AWT is often used in conjunction with CoolSculpting (R), radio frequency and laser heating of adipose tissue. AWT has also been reported to almost eliminate capsular contracture after breast implant procedures.

Cellulite Reduction:
Cellulite is a very common problem among women and falls into 3 categories depending on severity. AWT allows providers to offer long-lasting (but not permanent) decrease in the appearance of cellulite. AWT does not completely eliminate cellulite, but can safely and effectively help reduce its appearance by an entire category.

Physical Therapy:
Physical Therapy clinics have long used AWT with great success. It is thought that AWT can help the body create new blood flow / angiogenesis while helping to remove inflammation. AWT treatments can release AGF and VGF (growth hormones) with corresponding cell reaction including increased cellular activity via gene expression. Patients report a reduction in pain and greater range of motion after AWT treatments.

Sexual Rejuvenation:
Most recently, sexual medicine clinicians have reported increased sexual function in both men and women after AWT treatments. Examples of sexual rejuvenation training and marketing include both GainsWave (TM) and FemiWave (TM) treatments. AWT works synergistically with PRP treatments such as the OShot (R) and PShot (R).
